March 7-10

Good day parents and students:

Time has flown by....this is the last week of the quarter!! Please make sure you keep your agendas updated, that way you'll keep track of the different assessments that will surely take place the next few days.

6th Grade Math

As announced, a test on the 4 operations with fractions will take place this week. The date has changed though. 6-1, 6-2, and 6-3 will take the test on Wednesday, March 9th and 6-4 will take it until Thursday, March 10. I want to review all the operations before the test, so we will use the first two days of the week to do this.

Remember you can use the links provided to watch the videos we used in class, as well as practice with different exercises. If you wish to use the book, go to Chapters 5 and 6 for additional explanations and problems. The Power point presentations used in class can be viewed in my wiki page ( you can access the page by clicking on the Homework Calendar link, and then looking for the page called Adding and Subtracting Fractions).

The binder will be checked next week as well...I will provide the checklist on Monday.

Have a great week!!

Mrs. Hesse
