May 2- 6

Hello everybody!

Good luck to all the 6th graders in the National Anthem evaluations taking place this week. I hope you get super high scores on each of the assessments!! :)

Please take a look at what we will be doing this week.

6th Grade Math

Students will take their last Plato Math session this Monday. Remember to show your best effort so you can truly reflect everything that has been studied throughout the year.

We will conclude with our 2-dimesional geometry unit with a mini-project on Circles. Students will have to create their own drawing or collage using only circles, semicircles, arcs, and sectors. Please be prepared for Monday's class with old magazines, scissors, colors and white paper.

The Vocabulary quiz will be postponed until next week, so students have plenty of time to concentrate on their National Anthem test. I will keep you posted on the date ( quiz will probably take place on Tuesday, May 10th)

We will continue our Geometry unit by introducing 3-dimensional figures.
