Hello parents and students:
Believe it or not, this is the last week of the quarter. It will definitely be a very busy week, so read carefulluy to find out what we will be doing these next few days.
6th Grade:
Last week, students were assigned a Statistics and Graph project, and were given classtime to work on it. The project is due Tuesday, October 12. Please make sure your project is ready by this date, since teachers must meet a deadline to input grades into Powerschool.
We will also organize the binder on Tuesday. Make sure you bring all the papers you have for the class, so we can work together to get it nice and tidy for its presentation. 6-1, 6-2 and 6-3 will present binder on Wednesday, 6-4 will do so on Thursday.
We will begin new Math material during the blocks next week; the new skills we will introduce are order of operations and functions.
Cívica
El proyecto final de la unidad de la Familia tiene fecha de entrega para este Martes 12 de Octubre. Los alumnos deben de analizar una película desde la perspectiva de los diferentes temas vistos en clase sobre la familia. Ellos han trabajado en la clase, y deben afinar detalles únicamente. Es importante entregar el proyecto a tiempo, ya que tenemos una fecha tope para subir las notas a Powerschool.
El día Miércoles estaremos iniciando nuestra siguiente unidad "Los Derechos Humanos"
